Things are settling down on the Tower. The juveniles are out of the nestbox and spending their time out of reach of the cams. 2 Of them are airborne. The other 2 still hopflapping.
This afternoon spotters in the field at the tower saw how one of the juvi's jumped from the topring and flew away like he has flown a thousand flights. Gliding, soaring, without nervous flapping! He was joined by his bro/sis, and the 2 flew around the tower!
Our babies have turned into juveniles, into raptors, into real birds. And it goes so very fast.
