Alcoa Anglesea
The 3 boys are growing very fast into beautiful juveniles. This 5th week is one in which eyases always transform very rapidly into juvs. At the beginning of this week they are very white, and at the end this awesome brown plumage has appeared. We can watch how every day they are more brown. Now watching them in the early morning of November 6 only patches of white down are scattered over the brown feathers. They are so very very adorable like this. Looks like snow.
Juveniles fledge between day 42-46. Young tiercels can fledge as soon as 38 days. So it just might be we have only a few days left to enjoy these 3 exeptional youngsters, before they start the life for which they are born: that of a raptor.
