Freedom of Fort Wayne, enjoying the afternoon together with a bunch of pigeons.....

Anita Zwiers of the Dutch forum caught this wonderful capture of Freedom.

Just after Freedom left, the pigeons came in: not just one but just take a look: by the many. Gives the word "Foodcache" quite a different meaning: live stock in the backyard. Silly creatures: one sitting still OK, but > 20 moving around, making noises is asking for trouble.

The Oberhausen webcam is back online!

Last year this peregrine falcon couple in the German province of Nordrhein Westfalen was the first to lay eggs. The female started her clutch as early as February 22!
She laid 4 eggs, which all hatched. Sadly the youngest chick did not make it and died within 4 days after hatching. The other 3 fledged succesfully.
One of them crashed and was taken to a Bird shelter. How he is doing or what became of him is unknown.
