De Mortel cams are down
Unfortunately we have big problems with the webcams. However we capture everything on video in the nestbox. From this morning a clip and some shots form the clip.
The 5 juvi's have grown enormously. The eldest, a male is again op the grid. The second, female, and third, male are alomst brown as well. Only the fourth chick, female has some white down left on her body, but she is catching up fast.
Nijmegen: 36 days old
The Nijmegen eyases are 36 days old and getting more and more to th emoment of leaving the box. The first ones dared themselves to step on the grid with both feed.
It will be a joy ro watch them on the grid flapping their wings.
Images from the nestboxcam are still blury, but the moist from rain etc cleane dthe lens a little bit. So we can see something again.
Brighton Sussex Heights: 30 days old
The Brighton 4 are transforming very rapidly now into brown juveniles. It'goed so fast this proces. Look at them how amazingly beautiful they are becoming. In the next days they will probably step on to the ledge.

Heidelberg: both birds fledged.
Yesterday the male bird Jurgen fledged and today his sister Gerd fledged as well. Both birds are being closely watched if all goes well and no mishab is happening to them. So far they seem very well indeed.
They hatched and grew up at the nest site in the roof of the Heiligengesitkirche in Heidelberg. Very nearby is an ancient castle : dass Schloss with many places for young peregrines to play hide and seek. Heidelberg is situated in the middle of a great landscape full of forests, rivers and hills. They are on the brink of a great life.
Of course I will watch the 2 as closely as possible and post updates,
For now I wish them a beautiful live full of dazzling dives, climbs to the sun and soaring high in the blue sky. Fill the heavens with your honor dear great falconspirits and live long and prosper. May the Great Spirit guide and protect ou. We all love you.
Eggs--Hatch-Fledge
From several nestsites the juvi's have fledged:
Bologna, Rome, Oberhausen, Heidelberg and James River Bridge.
De Mortel, Nijmegen, Florence will be the nest ones.
