Alcoa Anglesea : one eyas left the nestbox!
At the end of the day around 17:30 one of the eyases suddenly disapeared. One pic he is there and the next pic he is gone. Most likely he stepped out on the ledge which surrounds the waterreservoir. This is called branching. Eyases always start exploring the area around the nestbox first and fledge within 2 days after that. So they are right on schedule. Watch the sequence:
