Alcoa Anglesea: 40 days old
Both youngsters Midnight( Z/V) and Rocket (W/A) are very active now. Especially Midnight who left the nestbox for the very first time today. He jumped up the roof of the box. In the afternoon he spent several hours perching on the railing of the tower.
Around 7 in the evening Sheila brought in a pigeon, which she left for the 2 boys to pluck and eat. One of them got real defensive when mantling the prey and putting up al the feathers. Wonderful boys! They are birds of prey in training!
Do hope they will stay around for a bit longer, before saying goodbye to their worldwide audience.
