Sad news from de Zwolle nestsite at the Electrabel Plant. One of the 3 juvies was found with 2 broken legs. After she was brought to the vet it turned out both legs were broken on several places. The injuries were so serious that it was decided not to let her suffer any more. She was euthanised and flew peacefully over the rainbow bridge.

The other 2 are OK and are seen every once in a while diving and talon tagging. They are about to leave the plant to start their own life.
