Derby Cathedral Peregrines: more wings 35 days old

More and more are the 4 juvies turning into their brown plumage.
They spent al lot of time exercising their wings, and they should! We have 3 males overhere and they do not have that much growing to do as females have. Their weight is complete at 850 grams where females need to grow till about 1050-1100gr. So males are ready to fledge sooner. That can even be at 38 days!
Both juvies of the Bologne Italy nestsite left their nestledge 38 days after hatching. Both are well by the way. Females fledge later, about 42-43 days.
We can observe here at the Derby nestite how the 2 eldest ones are of the same age and transformation stage, the third one is a bit behind and the fourth has quite a bit of cathing up to do.
So we will just wait and see and enjoy these 4 beautiful young peregrine falcons becoming little raptors-to-be.
