Elizabeth produced a third egg. Wonderful! But she's still heavy on the backside, so there will probably one more. She has started breeding, so I expect just one more. The miracle of new live has begun....

Aria produced her third egg: Bravo. And she has started breeding. She will probably lay another one.

Amazing shots of this beautiful peregrine falcon. And what a great home to bring up eyases.The cams are hosted by the CCB. Which is focused on the peregrine falcon population that breeds in Virginia. The Center for Conservation Biology has been the lead conservation organization working toward restoration and management of the peregrine falcon in Virginia. Working with a host of partners, Center staff have spearheaded the release of more than 250 falcons in the state, constructed dozens of nesting structures, conducted annual surveys of the population, and monitored the success of breeding pairs. Since the early 1980's, Virginia's breeding population has made a slow but steady recovery. We hope that providing information to the public will help to raise awareness about and concern for this vulnerable population.
