Terminal Tower: first hatch and a second one

After the excitement of yesterday when we saw a first pip, we are overjoyed today with the hatch of 2 eyases for Buckeye and SW. They are very experiencend and great parents and so Buckeye brought prey immediately for his newborn. They are adorable, these cuties.

From the 4 eggs two have hatched until now. Two very sweet eyases are being fed by mom while dad stands watch. Wonder when the other 2 will hatch. And is they will. Remember how one of the eggs was covered in droppings. So maybe it got infected. Just have to wait and see

De Mortel: third hatch!

Early this morning the third eyas for S2 and Pa hatched. We saw a third little beak wide open when breakfast was served. And the little one could perfectly cope with his elder siblings, no problem what so ever. These are strong eyases, born from the mighty S2 and Superdad. They will grow up to be strong juveniles, I'm sure.
S2 is a very devoted mother, she takes care every one gets a lot of food. She keeps on stuffing them. Wonder when the fourth egg will hatch.

Rome: still going stronger

Zwolle: hatching on it's way

In Zwolle the female was very agitated, kept on listening to the eggs, looking at them, moving them, listening again. The eyases must be screaming inside. This behaviour is so obvious, even without sound it's clear what is happening. The first eyas will hatch within 24-48 hours.

Columbus Ohio

Orville and Scout are still incubating, the eggs here won't hatch until May.
